Green Man trail of faces in Tilgate Park

click picture with blue border for enlargement

* Green Man Trail was carved during summer 1997

* Each carving took 2 - 3 days

* There are 7 faces each with a relevance to their location

* They are carved in oak, which is part of a built structure in 4 out of the 7 carvings

* They are all still visible today, but as was the original intention they have to be sought out in unexpected places

* To commission such works would be £400  each depending on scale and detail.  They can be carved on separate pieces of wood or in situ, on an existing building structure
